What is fescue grass?

Fescue grass is a cool-season perennial grass. Found right here in the Northwest, it’s a natural for damp pastures or wet meadowlands. It’s also considered one of the best grass seeds for poor soil and is perfect for all seasons. Adaptable to a wide range of climates, it is disease resistant and tolerates cold, heat, drought, and shade very well, thanks to its deep root system.

We have two new varieties that we are beginning production on that will be part of the next NTEP trial and we are working to get on the EU Tall Fescue List as well. Our current varieties received high marks from trials performed by the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP).
